WEEPING IS ONLY FOR A NIGHT
“…Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.” – Psalm 30:5.
Comment:
Weeping represents unpleasant situations or events that brings pain and sorrow. It is not the will of God for His people to weep, cry, mourn, grieve or be sad.
But we live in a fallen, sinful world with imperfect circumstances and people who are also hurting. Worst of all, it is a world where the devil exercise control and influence.
Night represents the duration of the weeping.
Night means there is an expiry date for the weeping.
It means the weeping will not continue forever.
King David’s consolation to us is that there is light at the end of the tunnel. The Sun will rise again. So long as nothing can stop the sun from rising, nothing can stop our joy from manifesting by the grace of God.
Prayer:
Almighty Father, turn our trials and tribulations to a testimony in the name of Jesus. Amen
