    Sisters Of The Lord's Ministry

    The Ministry of GKM is not a place for dissolute young men or women of easy virtue, but it is a place sincerely recommended for men and women of faith and integrity, irrespective of their educational background, tribe or language, to build up a noble career in Christ, replete with peace of mind and lively hope in God through Jesus Christ our Lord, in winning souls to Him. The Ministry is a place where once one takes the decision, he or she should be fixed and determined in mind never to look back like Lot’s wife. (Luke 17:31,32) And Jesus warned: “No man having put his hand to the plough and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.” – Luke 9:62

    The Women's League

    There is the Women’s arm of the Mission known as GKM Women’s League with its officers both at the Ministry, local, national or international levels. It is devoted to stirring up women in the studies of the Holy Bible for acquisition of spiritual knowledge, works of charity and faith, and building of character in accordance with Christian principles. They sponsor and hold conventions at different centres in the country yearly in the month of July and a day is usually assigned to them for various activities during the Christian Feast of Tabernacles.

    Christ's Youth Movement

    There is also the Youth wing of the Mission known as Christ Youth Movement (CYM). It has its officers both at local, national or international levels. It is an arm of the Mission aimed at the spiritual awakening of the youths, building up of their faith in God and molding up of character in Christ and encouraging Christian fellowships. The CYM Annual Youth Week that takes place at chosen centers, in the last week of August has become a phenomenon in which the various branches engage in Bible Quiz Competition, Bible Lectures, Panel discussions on topical issues, drama, concerts as well as sports.

    Children's Activities

    Children are precious to God and are capable of learning the Scriptures. First of all, children need to know about salvation through Jesus Christ. What a privilege we have to share the Good News with our little boys and girls and lead them to Christ. Sunday School is the place where we teach Bible stories to children in such memorable and positive ways that they become life-long lessons unfolding their meaning as they grow, drawing them closer to Christ and the purpose of God.
