    WORK HARD TO BE SUCCESSFUL

” Seest thou a man diligent in his business, he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men” – Proverbs 22:29

Comment: Every person has the capacity to be the best in any business he/she does, even in the LORD’S business. Number one requirement is faith or trust in God that you can do it. Secondly, that you have the good moral standard (zeal, passion, and the right attitude, etc) to do the business. Thirdly, the knowledge to do the business, then the temperament to carry on with what you are doing without allowing distractions. Patience and Godliness are also vital. Have a kind disposition towards all suggestions and criticisms of what you do and make amend as the need arises. And last but not the least, exhibit love in all your doings.

You will excel by God’s grace and people will appreciate you and you will become known or recognized among great men. St. Peter stated “if these things be in you and abound, you shall never be barren or unfruitful” in the service of God and an entrance will be made for us into the everlasting kingdom of God. – 2 Peter 1:5-12.

Jesus Christ encouraged his disciples to work hard and make good use of the gifts given by God to them to excel. One was given five talents he made it ten through seriousness while the one given two made it four, but the person given one was careless and took things for granted, it was taken from him and was given to the man who made ten and he was cast out to gnash his teeth. – Matthew 25:14-30.
Mark you, whatever you do should never cause harm, pain or sorrow to your neighbor or others.

*Prayer:* O God Almighty our Father in heaven, give us the grace to understand Your words of truth and righteousness and do them accordingly with seriousness for us to be in Thy presence always and bless the works of our hands through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
