The knowledge that what one sows one shall reap is a great incentive to everyone in the service of God to engage assiduously and relentlessly in well-doing all the time. No matter the huge size of the amount or quality of what one does no quantum of its reward will God shift to someone else but he will surely pay it to you. It is not a case of “one labours and another reaps”. The only thing that would cause one to lose one’s reward is when one backslides or one is unable to be steadfast till the end. It…

That Bible prophecies pointed to this age as a period of great upheavals, distress of nations with perplexity, and as a time whose generation would sink in sins, there is abundant evidence. Divine revelations indicate that the increase in crimes and calamities now being witnessed are as a result of the devious activities of Satan and his wicked angels cast down to the earth from heaven by Jesus Christ having been enthroned and commanded to rule in the midst of his enemies. Generation simply defined means the whole body of individuals or persons born about the same period of time.  Perverse is…

Although God did not deprive Satan of his overlordship over the earth after his rebellion, His ownership of the universe is not in dispute. “I have made the earth”, said God, “and created man upon it: I, even my hands have stretched out the heavens and all their hosts have I commanded.” (Isaiah 45:12) The fall of man at the instance of the Devil has not and will not make the Almighty God fail to accomplish His purpose for mankind. That he rules in the kingdoms of men and does unquestionably what he pleases is clearly shown in the Scriptures.…

Salvation is the greatest reward and also the ultimate that God will offer His true worshippers, How will one be saved? who will be saved? and where will one enjoy salvation? are questions whose answers make this treatise interesting and enlightening. Ordinarily, to be saved is to be rescued or delivered from death, sickness, accident, danger or trouble of any kind. One can therefore say, I was saved from death in a motor accident, I was saved from a terrible sickness, I was saved from a fire disaster, and so on. But the keeper of the prison into which Paul…

No pastor or evangelist in this our age according to the Scriptures has any commission or mandate of Jesus Christ to perform miracles. His commission or mandate to his true servants is, Go and preach the gospel of the Kingdom of God into all the world for a witness to all nations and then shall the end come.  The gospel of the kingdom of God otherwise known as “the gospel of…

God ordains His saints Himself, and they by their works are known as such when they are alive. The anointing of the Holy Spirit and seeing of visions in a trance-like state are vital characteristics of one who is called to be a saint. No one becomes a saint of God by human design or appointment or promotion. Paul the apostle of Jesus Christ told of his personal experience of visions and of “the revelations of the Lord”. A vision is an extra-ordinary sight or scene seen by a person in a trance or inspired of God. By a vision…

For the fact that some of the prophetic statements of Jesus Christ and his early apostles are yet to fulfil, Christians have great expectations for the third millennium after Christ. This understanding should act and/or serve as a catalyst for Christians to keep abreast more than ever before with their requirements as we approach the end of all things. To be negligent of their responsibilities and fail to meet their requirements will not only be inexcusable but will also be disastrous. Expectation is something looked forward to or hoped for, an attitude of expectancy or hope. Based on the promises…

There can be no greater source of hope and consolation for suffering humanity than that provided by Jesus Christ through the gospel of the kingdom of God. It is a fact that tyrants and dictators hardly on their own volition relinquish power or office even at the expiration of their tenures. They abolish constitutions and hold on to power against the wishes of their subjects. Such is the character of Satan the devil who will not give up his overlordship of the earth at the end of the time given him. In consequence God through Jesus Christ will declare war…
